The content here is general, not personal
Articles, videos, and other material on this site describe general patterns observed over many years of practice. They are educational and are not tailored to you, your body, or your specific condition.
Reading something here does not create a therapist-client relationship. Do not use this website to self-diagnose, and do not delay seeking medical care because of something you read here.
Massage is not a substitute for medical care
Therapeutic massage may support recovery and comfort for many people. It is not a treatment for disease, and it is not appropriate for every condition or every person.
If you have an existing medical condition, are pregnant, are recovering from surgery, or are under a physician's care, talk to your doctor before booking bodywork.
Results vary
No specific outcome is promised or implied. Individual responses to bodywork differ based on condition, history, and many other factors.
Referrals
If what you are dealing with would be better addressed by a physician, physical therapist, or other provider, Dani will tell you so. That referral is part of responsible practice, not a rejection.
Seek medical attention immediately if you have
· Chest pain or shortness of breath
· Sudden numbness or weakness on one side
· Loss of bladder or bowel control
· Severe pain after a fall or collision
· Fever with back pain
Call 911. Do not book a massage appointment.
